On February 14, 2020, Moonbin appeared on a Vlive broadcast with other Astro members, ending her hiatus. On March 4, 2020, Moonbin was announced as the new host of the Korean music show Show Champion, along with his bandmate Yoon San-ha and Kangmin of Veryvery. On March 12, 2020, she was confirmed to play the lead role in the web-drama The Mermaid Prince as About It, a role she reprized for the second season.
